IT at The Yard
Our workspace is backed up by high quality IT systems. The Yard has installed the infrastructure and invested in the software and solutions to ensure fast connectivity, security and segregation of networks as well as back-up plans and resilience lines. We have systems and processes in place to manage this - so you don't have to.
IGB Fibre
Fibre optic cables have been installed to optimise the signal strength over much greater distances, minimise interference and operate at a higher frequency rate. This means greater bandwidth and faster connection speeds than normal broadband. Members can work off Wi-Fi or wired connections.
Wifi and Data Management
We have installed Yardi Medusa for our wifi and data management. This enables up to flex parameters at the touch of a button so we can respond quickly to member's bandwidth needs.
Dedicated Line
We have installed a dedicated leased line to our building. This means our members can avail of consistent speeds, high data throughput and fast upstream speeds. This also means we have Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in place and faster fix times than standard broadband connections.
Security, Firewall & Protection
Yardi also provides security, firewall, and individual company protection.
Back Up Line
To ensure our members don't go offline in the event of any issues outside of our control, we have built in a resilience network which will automatically kick in. The Yard is connected to two different exchanges to ensure one is always available. We also have SLAs in place to ensure quick recovery if a line goes down.
VoIP
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) can be set up for your business. With a VoIP phone system, you do not need to be tied down to your mainline. It is cheaper and more flexible than a standard landline.
